The Chinese Embassy in Thailand reminded Chinese citizens traveling to Thailand on Saturday to be vigilant and not fall into the trap of “high paying recruitment”.

Chinese citizens coming to Thailand should not easily believe false promises such as “high paying jobs” or “free airfare and accommodation” to avoid being deceived.

The Chinese Embassy confirmed on Friday that, with the joint efforts of both countries, a Chinese citizen surnamed Wang departed from Thailand and returned to China on Friday evening.

The Chinese Embassy in Thailand thanks the Thai government for attaching great importance to Wang’s online fraud incident and promptly carrying out rescue operations to ensure his safe return home.
