After a review and analysis of the permanent resident population data of major cities in 2024 by a reporter from Yicai.com, it was found that a total of 12 cities saw their permanent resident population increase by more than 80,000 last year. Among them, the top ten cities were Guiyang, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Hefei, Changsha, Nanchang, Hangzhou, Wenzhou, Xi ‘an and Dongguan. The top seven cities saw their population increase by more than 100,000 last year.
