The three major U.S. stock indexes all closed lower. The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped by 0.25%, the Nasdaq Composite Index fell by 0.83%, and the S&P 500 Index declined by 0.53%. Most popular technology stocks declined, with Tesla dropping by more than 14%.
Regarding the upcoming market situation, I’d like to share a few of my own views and discuss them with friends who are on the same wavelength.
First, the US stock market declined.
The Nasdaq index has once again approached 20,000 points. The flexibility of Hong Kong and US stocks is relatively good because they are technology stocks that have driven up the index. The reason why the A-share market has poor elasticity is that the rise of bank stocks is bound to be less vigorous.
At present, technology stocks have also started to recover, and the TMT sector has been rising continuously. With the recovery of technology stocks, sentiment has gradually improved as well. The three consecutive positive days after the festival have brought many surprises to everyone, but they have also made those who missed the opportunity anxious.
Although the overall market index did not rise significantly, the small and medium-sized innovation index rebounded obviously. Only a general upward trend can have a profit effect. This kind of increase is more pleasing than the bank stocks boosting the index and is also more likely to attract capital transactions, so it is approaching 1.3 trillion again.
