Pre-market: Nasdaq futures rose 0.65% as the super central bank Week kicks off

2025-06-17

Global stock markets rose slightly on Monday and oil prices stabilized but still maintained most of last week’s gains. As the market widely expected that the conflict between Israel and Iran would remain within a controllable range, investors weakened the safe-haven positions previously stimulated by geopolitical tensions. This week, the market will witness multiple central bank meetings, and investors remain cautious.

As of the time of publication, Dow futures were up 0.44%, S&P 500 futures were up 0.56%, and Nasdaq futures were up 0.65%.

The German DAX index rose by 0.51%, the British FTSE 100 index increased by 0.48%, the French CAC40 index rose by 0.81%, and the Euro Stoxx 50 Index climbed by 0.57%.

The MSCI World Index rose by 0.2%, approaching the historical high set last week.

Last Friday, due to the intensification of the conflict in the Middle East, global stock markets generally declined. The Dow Jones Index dropped by approximately 1.8%, the S&P 500 fell by more than 1%, and the Nasdaq declined by 1.3%.
