On August 3 local time, the International Federation of Mechanical Workers and Aerospace Workers said that workers from Boeing’s fighter assembly plant in the St. Louis area have voted to reject the company’s latest labor contract plan.

According to the union’s resolution, about 3,200 workers will start a strike at midnight on the 4th local time . It is reported that Boeing had previously given a final plan to raise wages and more vacation time, but the plan was rejected by the union.
The union members are mainly responsible for the manufacture of Boeing’s fighter jets, missiles and ammunition and the production of parts for Boeing’s commercial aircraft.
