Pakistan and the United States cooperate to exploit oil

2025-08-05

There have been signs of news that the US-Pakistan cooperation in mining oil.

Last week, Pakistani Foreign Minister Ishaq Dal met with US Secretary of State and famous anti-China element Rubio.

The two sides later said that the United States and Pakistan were very close to the trade agreement and may take effect in a few days.

At that time, people just thought that Pakistan had negotiated tariffs with the United States, but no one expected that the content of cooperation between the two sides had turned into oil in the past week.

Trump was naturally very happy. He posted on his social platform: “We are selecting the oil companies that will lead this cooperation.”

But when the media asked the details of the agreement, Washington kept silent and didn’t want to say a word.

What can a US spokesperson say? His president is just a symbol of governing the country online.

In addition to wielding the tariff stick to scare people, Trump is very clear that the money that is in his pocket is money.

Whether it is tariffs or rare earths, nothing is worth less than liquid gold and oil.

In 2024, the global oil consumption reached 101 million barrels per day, and the United States ranked first in the world with oil demand of 18.995 million barrels per day. This data still fell month-on-month.

China followed closely behind with 16.373 million barrels per day, and the decline was caused by the domestic vigorous development of new energy vehicles.

Since the oil mining rights have been obtained, the next step depends on who will be handed over to develop.

According to the latest list of Fortune 500 companies released on July 29, a total of 45 oil and gas companies were on the list, and 18 were in the top 100.

Among them, China’s three barrels of oil were all in the top 100, while China Petroleum and Sinopec ranked second and third on the list with revenue of US$412.65 billion and US$407.49 billion respectively.

The United States naturally won’t give us such good things, so American oil companies are ready to go and start to think about Pakistan’s big cake.

American oil companies such as ExxonMobil and Shell are most likely to become designated partners of the US government.

It just so happens that the two oil companies are also “cash bulls” of American political donations, and both tend to be more conservative Republicans.

Trump is the Republican Party, and both companies have donated money to Trump.

So at this time, Washington doesn’t have to speak, just wait for lobbyists from the two companies to come and sit in the office to raise the price.
