From January 5 to 11, the domestic capital market and macroeconomic field will usher in multiple key nodes. Over 160 billion yuan worth of restricted shares in the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock markets will be unlocked, and core data such as the December 2025 CPI and foreign exchange reserves will be released one after another, attracting full market attention.
Regarding the unlocking of restricted shares, a total of 36 stocks will face unlocking this week, with a combined unlocked quantity exceeding 4.3 billion shares. Among them, Baili Tianheng ranks first in terms of unlocked market value, reaching 96.319 billion yuan. The unlocked shares account for 72.2% of the company’s total share capital, and the unlocked shareholder is Zhu Yi, the company’s controlling shareholder. The unlocked market values of Guolian Minsheng and Construction Industry are 18.008 billion yuan and 16.895 billion yuan respectively, both exceeding 10 billion yuan. The industry expects that large-scale unlocking may have an impact on the short-term liquidity of related individual stocks, but the medium and long term still depends on the company’s fundamentals.
On the macro data front, the December 2025 foreign exchange reserve data will be released on January 7, followed by the December CPI data. These two sets of data will provide important references for judging the domestic inflation level and economic recovery trend. At the same time, the central bank has 1.3236 trillion yuan of reverse repos maturing this week, with a single-day maturity scale of 528.8 billion yuan on January 7, and the rhythm of liquidity injection is worthy of attention. In addition, the China Internet Industry Annual Conference to be held on January 7-8 will also focus on the new trends of digital economy and industrial integration.
