On August 13, Alibaba Cloud’s Lingjun Zhenwu M890 super node was officially put into full commercial use, with the first batch of computing resources launched for sale at the Ulan Qab computing center. This milestone marks a key breakthrough in China’s domestic high-end AI computing infrastructure. As the first domestic computing cluster capable of stably supporting the inference of ultra-large models with over 2 trillion parameters, the Zhenwu super node adopts a high-speed interconnection architecture and supports 64 high-performance GPU interconnections per node, fully meeting enterprise-level demands for large model training, AI inference and intelligent computing simulation.
Compared with traditional computing clusters, the new super node greatly lowers the threshold for enterprise AI research and development. Enterprises no longer need to invest heavily in building self-operated computing rooms and can access ultra-large-scale cloud computing resources on demand. This innovation significantly shortens the R&D cycle of large AI models and reduces operational costs for technological innovation enterprises.

Targeting AI innovation enterprises, Internet technology companies and scientific research institutions, the super node perfectly adapts to the rigid computing demand for large model iteration and industrial AI implementation. Industry analysts said that global AI competition currently centers on computing infrastructure. The commercial launch of domestic super nodes fills the gap in independent high-end domestic computing capacity and breaks the monopoly of overseas high-end computing clusters.
With the continuous upgrading of domestic computing infrastructure, China’s AI industry will reduce reliance on overseas computing resources, accelerate the commercial implementation of large models, and promote integrated application of AI in industry, finance, medical treatment and other fields. It will continuously consolidate the core competitiveness of China’s digital economy and drive the high-quality development of the domestic artificial intelligence industry chain.
