On May 9, the State Council executive meeting clarified that China will accelerate the planning and construction of “six networks”: water networks, new power grids, computing power networks, new-generation communication networks, urban underground pipe networks, and logistics networks, to consolidate the stable and positive economic momentum. The meeting emphasized that computing power networks and new power grids are critical infrastructure for the digital economy and new energy transition. The government will increase support through central budget investment and special-purpose bonds, promoting coordinated development of data centers, intelligent computing centers, ultra-high voltage (UHV) and smart grids. This move will directly benefit IDC, cloud computing, optical communication, energy storage and power equipment industrial chains, while driving upstream demand for chips, servers and operating systems. The market believes that amid 持续 booming AI computing demand, computing network construction is expected to become one of the strongest themes this year, with clear earnings visibility and policy support for related sectors.
