It is reported that China holds a dominant position in the global production and processing of critical minerals.
The Ministry of Commerce’s official website previously announced that on May 12, the Office of the National Export Control Work Coordination Mechanism held a special meeting in Changsha, Hunan Province, making comprehensive work arrangements for 10 departments including the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, as well as local authorities in 7 provinces including Inner Mongolia and Jiangxi. It is required to strengthen the full-chain control of mining, smelting, processing, transportation, manufacturing, sales and export, and effectively prevent the illegal outflow of strategic minerals.
